Overview Project Kefaya ("Fulfillment") is a humanitarian initiative launched by Sanabel designed to support families in Egypt who have lost their primary breadwinner. The project specifically targets households that are now reliant on women who lack the financial resources to support their dependents.
The Challenge These families previously lived dignified lives but have been forced into difficult circumstances beyond their control due to the absence of their provider. Currently, they face severe economic hardship exacerbated by significant inflation, making it difficult to secure basic necessities.
Objectives & Impact The primary goal is to provide financial aid in the form of a monthly living allowance. By doing so, the project aims to:
Protect the dignity of women and empower them to care for their families.
Provide the minimum requirements for the families' well-being.
Fulfill a communal duty toward vulnerable members of society.
